Bruce Benderson's The Romanian
Mark your calendars - Bruce Benderson will be reading from his new book, The Romanian, across the country (see below). The Romanian was translated into French and published in France last year, winning the prestigious Prix de Flore, a prize normally given to French authors only - Bruce is the first American writer to win it, and for good reason. It's a great book on many levels and it'll be out in couple of weeks (Penguin-Viking). I recommend you all get the book and go to a reading, if you can:
